No. You will not need an account to create an online booking with our website. However, we do recommend you create one for easier access and order tracking.
Yes. We do not disclose any of your personal details to any third party sites and your information is safely secured into our systems.
Technical errors do occur, if you are facing any issues or errors with our website, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
We can alternatively put a booking through for you over the phone or via email enquiries.
Yes, the product images reflect the product and equipment brand you are hiring.
Obviously over time there will be visible wear and tear on our items due to regular usage – however, our equipment is regularly serviced, cleaned and maintained to ensure 100% functionality for our customers.
You can identify date availabilities through the booking/calendar integration on most equipment pages. If any dates are greyed out on the calendar this is because it has been booked out already.
We encourage you to try book as far in advance as possible to secure any equipment urgently needed.
If you are unsure about the availability of any equipment, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Provide us with a written quote and we will do our best to match or beat it.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to make any changes to your booking(s).
Contact us as soon as possible if you wish to extend any bookings. Once confirmed, we will invoice you for the additional day(s) of your booking extension*

Yes, you can cancel 48 hours in advance with no fee charge.
Cancelling within 48-24 hours will incur a 50% hire fee charge.
Cancelling within 24 hours, you will be charged 75% of the hire rate.
If cancelling due to weather conditions a full refund will be issued (at ACAH’s discretion)
Yes. We do not charge any additional fees to pick any equipment up from our factory.
We recommend you have the appropriate trailers to transport any heavy equipment such as our Earthmoving machines.
Alternatively, we have a range of trailers available for hire at an additional fee*
*depending on trailer availability
We do offer delivery and pick up for an additional fee varying on the distance from our factory to your job site.
Please refer to distance/rates charges below.
0-10km = $65 each way
11-20km = $75 each way
21-30km = $85 each way
31-40km = $95 each way
40km and over please contact us for a quote
As long as the booking created for each item is hired for the same date period, there will only be one delivery / pickup fee charged.
A Cut Above Hire and all hire equipment is fully insured, but you will be liable for any excesses or other costs incurred resulting from the claim.
As our products are released at 100% working order, ACAH management will use their discretion to decide if the damage caused should be charged to the hirer. If a product is damaged or broken during the hire period the hirer will be liable for the replacement or repair cost, which will be proven and reflected with receipts and invoices.
At A Cut Above Hire, we are very thorough with keeping our tools and machinery as clean as possible. If you return any products covered in dirt or debris, we will charge $40 per equipment hired as a cleaning fee.
We highly recommend you clean our tools and machinery after use to avoid extra fees upon return.
Please contact A Cut Above Hire immediately upon noticing any issues or faults and we will attempt to resolve the issue.
If this isn’t possible, a potential refund will be issued at our discretion.
We are a small business that is endeavouring to purchase more equipment the more we grow. However, if it is not listed on our website, we do not stock it at the current time.
If you have never used the equipment before we are happy to demonstrate all operating and safety requirements.
Alternatively, we offer for our professionals to operate the equipment for you on site if needed. This will of course have additional fees to be charged depending on the times and difficulty of the job.
Please contact us to enquire about hiring any of our experienced machine operators as we will need to organise it in advance.
